I excitedly shared with my Dad- a grazier in Central Qld- my newfound knowledge of Temple Grandin and the theory behind her cattle yard designs. As a brilliant individual on the Autism spectrum, she explains how she uses strong attributes of Autism- the visual and sensory (also common to animals) in her work. My Dad's reply? "Every grazier in Australia has heard of Temple Grandin!"

Watch as Temple Grandin uses the mysteries of autism to decode animal behaviour in this intriguing 20 minute TED Talk.
